Coffee was a relatively small part of Ventura culture for a long time with Palermo being one of the few notable and frequented cafes in the downtown area, Simones on the east end Caffrodite in midtown. Then third wave coffee made a significant move into town that gave Ventura more variety in both cafes and roasters. Needless to say, coffee culture has become an even more significant community building hub. Pay them a visit when you get a chance.
